Madalina brings over 6 years of experience working with technology companies, gaining a deep understanding of the challenges in running a business. Before joining Gilion, she was at Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) Germany, working closely with high-growth startups and driving over €100M in venture debt transactions from Seed to Series E stages. Prior to that, she spent two years at Apeiron, a London-based credit fund.

She believes that one of the biggest challenges founders face is balancing immediate funding needs with long-term ownership and control. Too often, early equity raises lead to unnecessary dilution and rigid investor dynamics. Ultimately, she sees the core issue as a lack of access to the right capital mix and guidance, and she’s passionate about helping founders build smarter, more sustainable funding strategies.
