Gilion continues to attract top-tier talent in the financial sector, driven by disruptive industry trends. These include the shift from static, outdated data to real-time insights, the transformative power of AI in amplifying human decision-making, and the fundamental changes these advancements bring to the credit decision process for founders and early-stage tech startups.

“We are thrilled to welcome Alexandre to the Gilion team,” says Oscar Werner, CEO at Gilion.
Alexandre's extensive experience in raising capital across different sectors and at larger scales will be a tremendous asset to Gilion. The best way to know if someone can do something tomorrow is if they’ve done it before, and if there’s one thing Alexandre knows how to do, it’s raising capital. This makes it highly likely that, with Alexandre on board, Gilion will secure the necessary funding to achieve our ambitious goals.".

Alexandre Hökfelt joins Gilion from Bridgepoint Development Capital, where he served as Head of Banking and Financing and was responsible for all debt capital raisings. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director at EQT Credit, where he played a key role in structuring financings for leveraged buyouts and leveraged corporations. Alexandre also has significant experience from his time at J.P. Morgan, where he was part of the Acquisition and Leveraged Finance team in London. He holds an M.A. (Hons) in Management from the University of St. Andrews.

I am thrilled to join Gilion at such a pivotal time in the company’s exciting journey. The financial industry is undergoing a major transformation, and I believe AI will be a key driver of that change. Gilion, with its unique technical platform, is at the forefront of this shift. I look forward to contributing to the company’s mission of empowering businesses with real-time insights and innovative financing solutions.” says Alexandre Hökfelt, new Head of Funding at Gilion.
