Sabina Pasha

Investment Manager, UK
“Founders shouldn’t have to give up equity just to keep the lights on. Straightforward, founder-friendly funding is what the landscape needs.”

Description

Sabina spent four years in VC before stepping away to focus on non-dilutive funding, after seeing too many founders give up equity simply because it was their only available option. That gap is what drew her to Gilion.

She has a sharp instinct for what founders actually need. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, she listens for what matters most in each raise, whether that’s the length of the tenor, the exit fee structure, or simply the pace at which the team can move, and adapts accordingly. For her, being a good partner means being a genuine team player who puts the founder’s priorities first.

What excites Sabina most is being part of Gilion’s evolution. She loves how modern, agile, and open to new business models the team is, and she’s energized by watching that journey unfold alongside colleagues who are just as invested in it. Making things happen for founders, and seeing the direct impact on their companies, is what makes the work feel worthwhile. For her, straightforward and founder-friendly funding isn’t just a nice-to-have, it’s the most important thing in the funding landscape.
