Filip has a solid background in banking, having spent six years as a management partner at Nordea - specialising in funding scaleups. During that time, he realised that there is a big gap to be filled between a banks and the equity market. That’s what led him to Gilion, where he’s been working since day one.

Filip often gets the feedback from founders that he “gets it”, that he’s incredibly nice to deal with and that they feel like he is someone they can trust.

He believes that it’s important to have different ideas of what defines a good company, and champions not following the herd. His commitment to clients goes beyond the Gilion product. He’s always ready to use his network to connect founders with the right investors or angels if Gilion isn’t a perfect fit.
