Founded in 2015–2016 in Stockholm by Tim Bjelkstam (CEO), David Höök (CMO), Fredrik Rylander, and Anders Lövbrand. Bjelkstam previously spent two decades in digital business development including a senior role at Hemnet, Sweden's largest property portal, plus stints at SEB and Dagens Nyheter.

Users post an ad with a photo and price, and nearby "helpers" pick it up – payments are handled in-app, and Tiptapp earns a transaction fee per task. The platform is profitable, has facilitated 1.27M+ pickups for 300,000+ users, and operates in Sweden, the UK, Germany, Austria, and Portugal – across cities including Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, London, Manchester, Berlin, Hamburg, Munich, and Lisbon.

“Instead of asking our existing owners for a refill, this was the simple alternative. When the market is uncertain and you need to reach an agreement on valuation, it rarely plays out to the founders benefit. This allowed us to escape the whole dilution dilemma, at very fair terms.”
